Prison Visits

“When I was in prison you visited me…” Matthew 25:26

As a Congregation we have been involved in this area of outreach for a number of years. We visit prisons in the East Midlands bringing a culturally relevant and authentic message of hope and life. This is delivered through songs, dance, drama, personal testimonies, and the preaching of the Word. When challenged by the message of Yahshua’s love we are always blessed at the positive response of those present. Many have surrendered their lives to the Saviour.

After each service we have the opportunity to share further fellowship over a tea, coffee and biscuits with the inmates, this is a chance to speak to them on a more individual level.

We are currently working in two prisons but our aim is to create a nationwide network of prison fellowships.

School Visits

We are totally committed to take the Message of the Kingdom to children and young People in our communities. We therefore see ministry in schools as an important means of achieving that goal.

We are currently working in partnership with a school in the Nottingham area, planning, creating and presenting culturally relevant and authentic presentations of the Message. which is already achieving visible and lasting changes in some lives.

Our teams work in assemblies, and also host sessions of Religious Studies when asked to.

We aim to take the Good news to as many schools
where we are invited to do so.

Ministry to Senior Citizens

This has been a long established area of outreach within the Congregation. Over the years we have witnessed many lives find peace, joy and contentment as the love of Yahshua has flooded their hearts by the Holy Spirit. Many souls have anchored safely in heaven’s harbour through the faithful labour of committed workers in this area of ministry.

Groups visit homes on a weekly basis and hold services in which the elderly partake enthusiastically in the singing of traditional hymns and lively choruses. Workers share the Good News through inspired testimonies, Scripture presentations, object lessons, drama and the teaching of the Word.

Working in partnership with the nursing homes we have succeeded in creating lasting relationships and friendships with many of the residents, some of whom do not have visits from close family.
