Missions

Yahshua gave the Great Commission to His disciples because He wanted to save mankind from every consequence of sin. We see the effect that the deadly disease of sin has on our world; therefore it is imperetive for believers to move out of their "comfort zone" and get involved in mission. We believe that "Mission" is the heartbeat of Yahshua; therefore missions have always been at the hear of The Congregation of Yahweh. For many decades we have been involved with overseas mission. due to the distribution of literature, we are in contact with people from many countries. We are currently working alongside missionary congregations in Kenya and Malawi helping to establish them in the truths and doctrines of the Congregation.

Why get involved in missions?
In the closing years of this dispensation we are conscious that Yahweh's Spirit is moving in many parts of the earth, calling forth His elect and fitting them into the one Body of Yahshua. We feel honoured and priviledged to be involved in this move of the Spirit. Yahweh is calling young men and women to 'sign up' for service on the mission field - at home or overseas.

The Great Commission is more than preaching the Gospel - it is living and sharing life with people of all cultures. Getting involved will enable you to be 'Yahshua' in more than words to needy people in diverse situations.

Who can be involved?
Anyone! Anyone who is willing to immerse themselves in the Word, listen to the Holy Spirit for the inner witness, look to Yahweh as Sovereing and seek counse of mature believers.

How do I prepare?
Read everything about missions and missionaries that you can get your hands on. Get involved in your local church activities. learn to minister effectively in your own culture before you consider overseas mission. Talk to your Pastor to share your vision and burden. Get involved in volunteer service and look for other opportunities to serve.

How can I help to support missionaries?
Involvement in Mission is more than 'going'. People are needed to generate prayer and financial support for those that are 'sent'.
