Missionary Update - Kenya Youth Rally

There was a record attendance as Kenya's youth converged on Nakuru from 26 to 30 December 2011. They were enthusiastic, ready to make the most of the Rally. They chatted well into the first night catching up on events, but the journey caught up with them and they eventually collapsed into sleep.

Sunshine Rally 2011

Obstacles overcome for a great day in the sun

The Town Mayor opened the event, which was attended by a diverse mix of people. The expected 400 visitors was actually more like 700. Sunshine Rally 2011 created a buzz and got people talking. Innovo Theatre Group performed stunning mime, which visibly moved the participants at times. 'Pastors on the Ground' were available for any wanting a listening ear. But it wasn't all plain sailing...

The celebration at Shavu’ot (Pentecost) was the second major event of the year celebrating our landmark anniversary. Invitations were sent out and the response exceeded expectations. The Nottingham Emmanuel School hall was hired for the event, along with the dining room which was needed for a Celebration Meal after the service.
