It’s impossible to understand the ways of Yahweh, and there are often no answers to the ‘Why?’ cry from the heart, but always, in the darkest hours, Yahshua will walk to us across the waves. Yahweh’s Word is full of scenes of deliverance, rescue, help and miracles, and He delights to teach us to know Him in every situation. Sometimes He keeps us waiting, sometimes we have to experience the very worst that life can throw at us, but He faithfully keeps His promises – and He will always meet us in extremity.
George MacDonald wrote, “[Yahweh] in His providence has a thousand keys to open a thousand different doors in order to deliver His own, no matter how desperate the situation has become.” Do you find yourself in extremity today? In a desperate situation? In a place where confusion and darkness hold sway? The prayers of the heart need not be lengthy; they can be as simple as the ‘Remember me,’ of the thief on the cross next to Yahshua, or the simple ‘Help me,’ prayers recorded in the Psalms, or even the gentle mention of our beloved Saviour’s name, ‘Yahshua’. All prayers from the heart are heard by Yahweh, and all hold the power of change.
L. B. Cowman wrote, “Difficulty is actually the atmosphere surrounding a miracle, or a miracle in its initial stage. Yet if it is to be a great miracle, the surrounding condition will be not simply a difficulty but an utter impossibility. And it is the clinging hand of His child that makes a desperate situation a delight to [Yahweh].” Do you feel as though you are clinging to your heavenly Father today? It is the place of miracles, so hold on very tightly, He is eternally faithful.

If you feel that your life is in a rut. If you feel trapped by anything that you can’t seem to get out of. [Yahweh] is the [Elohim] of wonderful change. He will release you, whom the Son sets free is free indeed.
