What a blessing it is to understand that no matter how great the difficulties and problems we need never face them alone. Our beloved Saviour has ‘…borne our griefs and carried our sorrows…’ (Isaiah 53:4 NKJV) Not only that but He was tempted in every way that we are and can empathise and relate to our humanity. (See Hebrews 4:15 AMP) Then there is the Apostle Paul’s description of Yahweh as “…the Father of compassion and the [Elohim] of all comfort, who comforts us in all our troubles…” (2 Corinthians 1:3-4 NIV) We have a great and lasting support system for all of life.
As I write this, news about the dreadful terrorist atrocities in Paris dominate our news channels and the pain and grief of hundreds is exposed to a horrified world. We live in trying and anxious times and it would be easy to be overcome with fear, haunted by tragedy. How wonderful it is to know that we can go to Yahweh for help and support and turn to His Word for comfort, strength and reassurance. He is always near, no-one who trusts Him ever walks alone, and, awesomely, He says tenderly, “As a mother comforts her child, so will I comfort you…” (Isaiah 66:13)

If you feel that your life is in a rut. If you feel trapped by anything that you can’t seem to get out of. [Yahweh] is the [Elohim] of wonderful change. He will release you, whom the Son sets free is free indeed.
