The scriptures clearly teach that there are two fundamental choices: sin or righteousness; disobedience or obedience to Yahweh. Paul continues to expand his thoughts by urging us, “Do not offer any part of yourself to sin as an instrument of wickedness, but rather offer… every part of yourself to [Yahweh] as an instrument of righteousness.” (Romans 6:13) How can I offer ‘every part’ of myself to Yahweh? What can this mean?
Throughout my spiritual walk I have noticed how Yahweh takes up and uses whatever we lay down at His feet. He Who created the extravaganza of nature and the awesome magnificence of the universe also gave endless variety of expression and talent to those made in His own likeness. Throughout my own life I have noticed how nothing I learned or experienced was ever wasted. Yahweh has astonished me time and again by making the most surprising use of ‘snippets’ of knowledge, or taking up and using what, to me, have seemed to be just natural abilities. When we lay our lives down at His feet, we must understand that this includes ‘every part’ of ourselves, or all the separate ‘capacities’ of our being; all that I am and have is offered to Him. He will take and use whatever pleases Him.
Is it possible to be a child of Yahweh and find oneself enslaved (obedient to or ruled by) something other than Himself? I don’t know; whose slave are you?

If you feel that your life is in a rut. If you feel trapped by anything that you can’t seem to get out of. [Yahweh] is the [Elohim] of wonderful change. He will release you, whom the Son sets free is free indeed.
