In-Service Courses

This category of courses caters for specific needs of people already active in church work. Some of the subjects will form part of theCertificate and Diploma courses, but they can also be taken separately. These courses are open to anyone in full or part time ministry.

Examples of courses offered

IS1: Life's Milestones
A weekend session for practising shepherds or those aiming to become church leaders dealing with the doctrine and practice of performing weddings, funerals, water baptism and baby blessing/dedication.

IS2: Leading a small group Bible study
Leading on from F2 this course concentrates on how to involve others in corporate Bible study.

IS3: Presentation
To help preachers/teachers make their presentations more affective by the use of visual aids. Included in this is the basic use of "Powerpoint".

IS8: Doctrines of the Faith
A series of lectures dealing with some of the major doctrines of the Congregation.

IS9: The Artist's Role in Worship
The Worship Artist has a role to play. What is that role? This course outlines how to know, love and impart your art.
