There are times when I’m overwhelmed by the magnitude of Yahweh’s plans for me; astonished by the care and consideration that has gone into their design. Humbled by the provision made to help me attain to His ideals, walk in His ways, and fight the glorious fight He set before me. But even more overwhelming is the concept that Yahweh, Yahshua and the Holy Spirit are ONE [Deuteronomy 6:4; 1 John 5:7]!
When Phillip asked Yahshua to show them His Father, He replied in astonishment, “Don’t you know me, Philip, even after I have been among you such a long time? Anyone who has seen me has seen the Father” [John 14:9]. John writes: “…there are three that bear witness in heaven: the Father, the Word, and the Holy Spirit; and these three are one” [1 John 5:7, New King James]. Yahshua is also known as the ‘Word’ [John 1:1&14] and the Holy Spirit as ‘the Spirit of Yahweh’ [Isaiah 61:1]. These three are so in tune with each other that we can be constantly aware of, and connected to, each of them. We know them for the individuality of their personas and the beauty of their unity!
Working together as a united force, Father, Son and Spirit are irresistible and unstoppable. Amazingly, the Scriptures make it clear that they dwell within us [Ephesians 2:22; 3:17; 1 Corinthians 3:16]! We know our beloved Yahshua as Saviour; caring, kind, devoted, holy - and our Friend. We know the Holy Spirit as Comforter; counsellor, advocate - and our Guide. We know Yahweh as Omnipotent; magnificent, invincible, omnipresent, almighty - and our Father. They minister to us through the power of the Holy Spirit, make themselves known to us though the power of the written Word, and fashion us according to the foreknowledge and predestination of the Most High through the power of His will.
It's clear from the Scriptures that the life of a believer will not be an easy one. Salvation is an incalculable gift, but it doesn’t include trouble-free living! One thing we do know, however, is that the Triune Deity is with us, and for us; we only need to call!
