Limitless Love
Thought For The Week 23
As I was reading these verses today I was reminded of a prayer offered by the apostle Paul, who prayed that we might ‘… have power, together with all [Yahweh’s] holy people, to grasp how wide and long and high and deep is the love of Messiah…’ [Ephesians 3:18] My heart warmed as I put these two thoughts together and I marvelled at the limitless, unfathomable love of both Yahweh and His Son. How blessed we are to be objects of that love.
For many years I was unable to accept that such love was offered to me. It’s often easy to see why Yahweh loves this person or that one, but to be unable to accept His love personally. Yahshua spent many years patiently chipping away at my disbelief and constantly proving His love for me. Gradually I began to accept that ‘I am loved…’ and it is an amazing, liberating gift. Even when the way is dark, life is bright because of His love. I am secure in this hope and I can rest in safety [cp. Job 11:17-19].
Within the realm of limitless love you, too, are loved. Find it hard to believe? Ask Him to open your eyes to notice His care and allow Him to work with you to help you to understand and accept the reality of His deep, unfailing, limitless love.

Pause For Thought
We need to stop worrying about some things in life. [Yahweh] is on our side. He is behind us, with us and ahead of us.
