The Golden Glow Of Grace
Thought For The Week 90
‘A remnant chosen by grace’! How gloriously beautiful is this seemingly simple statement; how breathtakingly inspiring! We are ‘chosen by grace’ and there is simply nothing we can do to influence that choice. This is not a ‘rat-race’; it is not a ‘dog-eat-dog’ situation; we cannot make ourselves a part of this remnant, but the golden glow of grace overshadows all who believe, trust and follow Yahshua. We are chosen! Oh, blessed, amazing truth. Our Beloved Saviour gave Himself to suffering and death so that we might receive the power of a new and endless life simply for the asking. His grace is endless and boundless and is offered to everyone. Yahshua Himself said that He would never turn anyone away (John 6:37) and this is the ‘flip side’ to being chosen – we come, we are chosen! We can’t make ourselves part – but we can come to Him and, drawing from His grace, become a chosen part; for His grace is sufficient!
Do you sometimes feel as though you are walking this way all alone? Hang onto this glorious promise that you are part of a remnant. Know that all over the world there are those of like heart and spirit, and hang on in there! And for yourself, take seriously the Apostle Peter’s advice to ‘keep growing in grace and knowledge of…Yeshua the Messiah.’ (2 Peter 3:18 CJB)
