Courses are divided initially into three types: Foundational, In-Service and Certificate. Later we will be developing further courses leading to diploma and extended diploma levels.
These lay a foundation from which students may move on to certificate courses. They are open to all and will include topics of general interest and "tasters" which will help people decide on the suitability of more advanced courses.
Where does preaching fit in to a modern church? "To preach or not to preach?" How to make preaching worthwhile. Can I preach? Do I need to preach? This lecture will help active and intending ministers assess whether they should be preaching.
A lecture to show people how important personal study is and hlep to find a suitable level of study. Suitable students may want to move on to course C1.
This lecture will show how a knowledge of music can help in singing, playing an instrument and worship. Some students may then move on to further study.

This category of courses cater for specific needs of people already active in church work. Some of the subjects will form part of Certificate and Diploma courses, but they can also be taken separately. These courses are open to anyone in full or part time ministry.
A weekend session for practising shepherds or those aiming to become church leaders dealing with the doctrine and practice of performing weddings, funerals, water baptism and baby blessing/dedication.
A weekend looking at the purpose of small groups, what it means to be a leader and includes instruction and practice in leading discussions, bible studies and prayer times.
To help preachers/teachers make their presentations more affective by the use of visual aids. Included in this is the basic use of "PowerPoint".

At this level credits will be awarded on the completion of each course. The credits may be accumulated towards a certificate. Previous study will be taken into account and credits may be awarded for suitable courses already completed.
A rigorous approach to personal Bible study, the inductive method and an introduction to hermeneutics and exegesis.
Basic preaching skills, homiletics, public speaking etc
