Celebrate the Resurresction in Nottingham

Almost 2,000 years ago He rose from the dead on this day, giving us hope of living lives of peace, and free from what the Bible calls 'sin'. Day of Atonement (Yom Kippur)

Saturday 8th October 2011

Yom Kippur has long been considered the most holy day in the Jewish biblical calendar. The name itself describes the history of the holy day for it was on this very day, once a year, that the High Priest would enter the Holy of Holies of the tabernacle and later the temple, to make atonement for the nation.
