It is a spiritual and biblically confirmed fact that, in order for others to live someone must be prepared to die. The apostle Paul also wrote, “…we who are alive are always being given over to death for [Yahshua’s] sake…death is at work in us, but life is at work in you” (2 Corinthians 4:11-12). If I want to be successful in the work that Yahweh has given me to do – whatever that may be – then I must give up my own life, personal desires, ambitions, goals, and be content to go where He leads and work where He directs. When death works in the human vessel then streams of life, heavenly grace and spiritual power will flow out to those to whom we are called. The ‘die to live’ phenomenon is as powerful and critical today as it ever was.
“May the eternal Spirit stir us all up! May He work in us a more powerful sense of what it is to be true-hearted, single-eyed, devoted servants of [Yahshua the Messiah].” –Lettie Cowman
