I have loved, known and walked with Yahshua and His Father for more than half a century; there are many areas of my life I never want to walk again! However, through it all, the knowledge I have gleaned about Yahweh and His faithfulness assures me that He is never less than completely in control and always proves to be entirely more than amazing. Even more astonishing has been the deep, inner peace [rest for my soul?] that I have experienced in spite of circumstances which seem anything but ‘good’.
King David, prophet, poet, songwriter and anointed of Yahweh, actually spent years of his life as an outlaw, hated, harassed, threatened and pursued by King Saul. His first ‘army’ was made up of 400 men who were either in debt, in distress or discontented. Hardly a significant start! Yet this is the man who wrote and sang, “All the ways of [Yahweh] are loving and faithful for those who keep the demands of his covenant.” [Psalm 25:10] It is humbling to think on the faith that is captured in that small word ‘all’.
Ask for the good way; even when it is difficult it will bring about a perfection of Yahweh’s plans for you, for He sees beyond today, next month, next year, His plans for us reach to eternity. There is an exciting, breath-taking ‘unknown’ awaiting us and the ‘good way’ of Yahweh will prepare us to enjoy it, while serving Him forever.
